Set in stunning scenery on the Herefordshire slopes of the Malverns, our cottages are uniquely situated to enjoy the magnificent views and splendid walking offered by the Malvern Hills.  We offer family and dog friendly self-catering holiday cottages from which to explore the castles and manor houses, cathedrals and towns of the Cotswolds and the English-Welsh borders, and charming historic holiday accommodation where you can simply relax in the garden, or unwind by the fire with a good book.

Perrycroft Holiday Cottages are within the grounds of Perrycroft, Colwall, Herefordshire; an Arts and Crafts gem high on the Malvern Hills, designed by renowned architect CFA Voysey, and built in 1895.  Guests at The Lodge the Old Stables and The Hayloft can enjoy walks straight from the door on to the Malvern Hills with far reaching views across the Herefordshire and Worcestershire countryside.  With everything you need for a comfortable and memorable holiday, our characterful cottages are beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped.   Visitors may also wander at their leisure in the lovely gardens of Perrycroft which open to the public occasionally as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

The Accommodation


The Lodge

Designed by Arts and Crafts architect CFA Voysey and complete with original historic architectural fittings and antique furnishings, The Lodge sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms with two bathrooms.  The sitting room has an open fire place, and there is a large country kitchen and a spacious dining room with a wood burning stove. The enclosed garden has commanding views to the British Camp, and there is private parking for two cars.

The Old Stables Holiday Cottage Malvern

The Old Stables

Once part of the original stabling for Perrycroft, the Old Stables has been recently converted to a cheerful and homely cottage, and furnished in a relaxed country style. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms to sleep five people comfortably, the cottage has a light and airy open plan living and dining room, and a large modern kitchen. Tucked away in a quiet location, there is an enclosed garden with a spacious dining area, and private parking for two cars.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft

The Hayloft occupies the upper storey of CFA Voysey’s coach house and stables, designed in 1893 along with Perrycroft house and The Lodge.  It sits just below The Lodge overlooking the drive down to Perrycroft, and with magnificent views across to British Camp. Behind is The Old Stables, and these two cottages together form a perfect pair for larger groups.
